You need to put a sign in your window, letting people with reefers and apus know that they aren't welcome. I think the fellers will oblige you.![]()

OK, I promise not to park next to you while I sleep in utter comfort blasting my nasty APU. All bets are off when the lot is full though.
TallJoe Thanks this. -
Seriously, I was thinking for a moment that maybe you don't hear that noise the same way.. Maybe it sounds different from your cabin. When I was puling reefers and they were not brand new, the way they rattled did not bother me. As matter of fact I was glad to be able to hear them, it meant they were working.

Trooper to Trucker
Thank your Governmental, especially the Department of Transportation, DOT, FMSCA, and those liberal bleeding hearts on Crapital Hill for being tree hugging, eco friendly, and coming up with alternatives to idling.
Also. no offense, but that is trucking, and every driver has the right to obey the laws a our fine government agencies have enacted on behalf of the transportation sector. We cannot designate in truck stops, rest areas, or so on reefer, bull hauler, APU sections. When i am tired, and i pull into a truck stop. I am not looking at who is next to me, but that there is a spot open. So i can comply to those confusing HOS rules. -
