We were ticketed in New York for idling. I had 2 small dogs in my truck and it was 94°. When I called the state to explain I thought it would be an animal cruelty situation to leave dogs in the truck without air conditioning they did not care. I also contacted the aspca after but never heard back.
We have since gotten a new truck with an apu. Is the apu running considered idling?
