Are any of the job listings legitimate?

    A company owned by Ukrainians?????
I would steer clear of those Chicago based Eastern European owned outfits.
I can’t believe you can’t find nothing in California?? As far as refers, there are a lot of no touch and dedicated outfits.
As been said, the good ones don’t need to advertise.

I guess you didn't understand what I wrote. I have a job. It's in California paying $30/ hour. I was a 1099 employee and that was taken away by a new law. Now I'm on payroll and my check has dropped significantly. So I'm looking for a better job.
As far as the Cascadia comment... I drive a 525 hp T680 13 speed governed at 78mph. I'm not going down to a gutless piece of junk. I pass those things climbing Donner when they're empty and I'm fully loaded

Why would your paycheck drop... you still have to pay taxes on 1099, just not up front. At the end of the (or year) it's all the same, no?
I do feel it's a government overreach. If the drivers and company's are happy, stay out of it.

So work 70 hours a week where you are and problem solved is what I am reading. If you need $2,000 plus a week. Change your status on your w4 to married or whatever and claim 99 allowances.I know the new W4 doesn't look the same as an older one. Find an older W4 and hand that to your employer. They don't send it to the IRS either way. Its only used for someone in payroll to use intuit payroll or do manual labor in calculating your taxes each pay period.

This right here is sound advise. I just spent the past six months finding my new home. And the above is exactly true. They don’t advertise because they don’t have to. If they do it’s to screen a dozen applicants before they pick one. Everyone where I’m at now has been here for years! And by the way, OP, yes, I’m actually making about $2000 weekly. I didn’t believe it at first, but I’ve gotten my first few checks. Ask around, talk to drivers, write down the companies you notice out on the road that catch your attention and don’t advertise 24/7, etc. it takes a bit of work, but they are out there.

Check out S&S in Grand Forks, ND. I ran with them from TX. They're not a bad co. and run Kenworths. I left for better $ but they raised the pay and have a guarantee now.
