They all ignore the overheight sign. Blowing that signal made it classic!

Are condo sleepers good for anything? I hear they can be a pain to air condition or heat and by the looks of things don't really utilize that extra space.

Their useless unless maybe a team or someone over 6 ft tall. Always trimming trees. Hitting stacks. Stupid sunroof window useless also. Looks like He won’t have to worry about any of that now. I guess aerodynamics are a help with my dryvan. Rather have a mid roof.I wonder if He’s an old flatbedder, just got new Truck, not thinking?

He might have forgotten that he was driving a condo. He forgot to stop at the red light!

Back in the day, with my first company, I had occasion to stop by our Texas terminal for the first time. On the way in, I noticed a Y in the road. One fork, within 100 feet, led under an 11'3" bridge.

Within five minutes of arriving at the terminal, I had no less than three people tell me not to bear left at the Y. I was all like, "OK, WTF? There's a story behind this." Turns out a few months prior, a new (to the company) driver just got his tractor, heading out bobtail to pick up his very first load...

...you guessed it. SMACK. Took the top off a condo cabover. Dang, that's haircut level when you're up that high! No matter how much technology advances, they'll never fix stupid.

THAT is not a valid case for anti condo.

That 11.8 bridge gained fame because so many people were STUPID and HIT that #### thing in ALL sorts of vehicles small and large. WHY?! Because they IGNORE a whole stack of a world pasted and covered in signs imploring overheight trucks to TURN LEFT.... BOOM they hit the bridge.

Ive used condos all my life with a few exceptions and aint never had trouble with any bridge except one and that one was a wee scrape of a experiment. The antennas at 13.5 sang on it and told me its no way it's going to fit. That's using brains.

Now if you want to make a federal case about why flatbedders should never use condos, Pick something else besides this circus video of a famous low clearance bridge. Nothing but mindless dummies ramming into it.

That's kinda like the 9'6" bridge in Newtown, Conn. I met the owner of Newtown towing in a rest area after I got put OOS by the dot.We wound up back at his shop and he had 3 photo albums of all the fupducks. He was only 23 and had built his business on the money he made on that bridge. At that time he had 4 trucks, by now he's probably got 10.
