Freight brokers that are bad business people are going by the way side just like owner operators that are bad business people are getting weeded out but the ones that are great business people will ALWAYS be with us.

those of you who hate freight brokers need to think about why you hate these people ???
They provide a service for YOU and they provide a service for shippers and receivers. If you hate them then why do you call them ? Because you need something they have.

I personally believe that carriers small or even mid size that concentrated on load boards using brokers as a majority for their freight will hurt now a days. Those carriers big or small who established a customer base wouldn't see as much problems in the long run. No one should hate Brokers however the corruption is on both ends in some situations.

Ask the traffic manager at Procter and Gamble if freight brokers are necessary.

I'd appreciate it if my competition would disappear faster.

It's rather annoying when the guy driving a desk gets paid the same as the guy driving the truck with the fuel and repair bills.

Simple solution would be to go get your own desk then. Right?

I guess that's one way of looking at it. Another would be if there wasn't a guy driving a desk, you might not be driving a truck.

Economics isn't a subject I have found most truck drivers take an interest in learning
