    It depends on your location.

People are focusing on legalities and considering less than lethal means. The problem is, in certain areas, the less than lethal means can be considered CRUEL and inhumane. You had some punk try to rob you and you hit him with the wasp spray, pepper spray, bear spray, whatever…and while fleeing, he gets injured. You go to court and suddenly, you find yourself having to pay for this fool’s medical bills and support his family. He showed up looking pitiful and wife and kids look so sad. Nevermind this guy’s attempted robbery, the bleeder jury understands that he’s just a poor guy trying to feed his family and now because of the act of cruelty, he can’t and his family is suffering.

You, law abiding citizen, perfectly clean record, lose everything that you honestly worked for. It would have been better to delete him. Cheaper too.

I'm not going to admit to anyone on here that I carry a gun or if I don't, but I'll say I bought a 9oz can of bear spray. It's mace, with 2.5x the active ingredient. They even recommend not using it on people because it hurts so bad. It also shoots 20 feet. I also have at least 2 large knives in the truck or on my person at any given moment. Anything more I will neither confirm nor deny is in my truck.

I used to not carry anything before I got shot. Now my truck is like a mini-fortress.

But there are no federal laws about carrying guns in a commercial vehicle. The only laws are state laws.

And this right here is why you are taking your own life in your hands when you get the idea to carry with no training. I am 100% for U. S. citizens to be able to bear arms when legal to do so, but so many people want to just start carrying with no training & no clue except what info you get from internet forums & your aunts boyfriends grandson.
If you want to carry for protection & if you intend to use a firearm for the intent of defence for yourself or a 3rd party, you need to go take class(s) & learn what the law is and when you can use that firearm.... and how. Otherwise, your setting yourself up for a really bad situation.

You know in our state that we are now allowed to carry concealed without a permit?

Very good explanation of what could happen. I'm a firm believer in always carrying , would rather have it and not need it than the opposite. I will add if you delete the punk there's only one side to the story , yours.

Yes and that's fine. But that's not going to keep Jim Bob out of jail. Jim Bob needs some training before he starts packing. Just like a kid learning to go hunting with his dad. Dad is there to teach him some rules. Training.

And now 18 year olds can carry... OMG.....

Why is that bad? If they can get shot for our country, they can tie the knot.

Just remember, innocent until proven guilty. It still exists, just not for our former president.
