Are high-tech kids losing interpersonal skills?

    High-tech kids lost in face-to-face relationships

    I have long thought that not just video games; but much of the advanced technology we take for granted has had an adverse affect on our youth. I don't think that means we need to ban X-Box and Wii. I just think we need to monitor how much children and teens use that stuff and make sure they aren't using it as a substitute for human interaction. :biggrin_2558:

    GA - I totally agree with you. There needs to be a balance, but today parents are busier than they have ever been, and these things keep kids "out of trouble" (at the moment - I have my own thoughts on this theory as well).
