Are insurance rates different in different states?

    Then that sounds about right. The progressive agent quoted me the same rate on what it would be without my accident in my personal vehicle.

    Your right. The agent said the same thing. He gave me a quote on what it will be after the accident falls off and it was 10k less.

    It wouldn't be so bad on me if the accident was my fault because of something stupid I did but it wasn't my fault at all. Makes it a real teeth grinder for me. Not liking dot so much anymore not that I ever did.

    Rates are high in all costal states east cost and
    Texas progressive is the worst company to do business with.

    Looks like she's in California. Doesn't California have some of the highest insurance rates around?

    Part of the rates has to do where your base from, MVR, and what type of haul you do. Hub International are Nationwide brokers. Yes, My agent is base out of California.

    Just moved my authority from iowa based to Texas kept same dot number. Ins rates were higher in Texas. So my agent showing I garage my truck in iowa. I run iowa to Tx and back. So I got lucky.

    Thinking about trying something like that. For instance, I have family in Arkansas and I could use their address if needed. I mean I actually go there often also. Of course, this will be of no use if the rates are not any better there lol. I'll have to call a broker out of that area I guess and ask some questions.

    that’s the way to do it been looking to acquire a small fleet in Iowa or Kentucky for those reasons.
