I know we have bid $4500 on those loads, and occasionally we do win the bid, but it is rare. We will not haul those loads for anything less, and that is only if there is one of us willing to go to Texas, which again, is rare.

A lot of those FB groups are full of people don't know what they're doing n couldn't get a good rate if it was offered them.

It's picking back up. I was just in Atlanta and it wasn't terrible - got a $3.50 a mile run to New Hampshire to keep me busy over the weekend, almost $4k for an easy 1000 mile run.

Why ya'll don't like to go to Texas? It's like the least objectionable place to drive in. I know some people don't like to go to Cali or Northeast, but never heard of people not wanting to go to texas

Never been to NH, or MA.

    What I need to know?

I also noticed the pickup. Happened on Friday @ 12pm exactly. Dead all morning, then BAM!! Phone started ringing.

Loads popped up all over DAT & CHR board

Yeah, I grabbed it off of landstar board on Thursday. It was one of those "ok, this is definitely good enough" loads, lol.

As far as new England, what you have to know... just usual northeast, not great for parking, hopefully you know how to scan satellite pictures on Google maps for possible hidden truck parking in industrial neighborhoods - because there sure aren't any truck stops.

Not great for getting out with a good load, but not terrible either, you'll get something decent for $2.25 a mile to Indianapolis or something if you babysit the board.

And come in on 84 or 90, avoid George Washington bridge, that thing is super expensive eastbound ($100) and full of traffic. Free westbound, tho.
