Are manuals basically going away for the automatics?

    Oh yeah I'm used to it lol was like being with and learning a new woman finding out what it's little quirks and idiosyncrasies are. Do this this way, do that that way, don't EVER do that lol. This is one woman divorce from isn't going to come quick enough. And it's brand new. Figured they'd have it figured out by now but I'm not seeing it from this seat. And maybe it's just the cascadia. We have some volvos with the i-shift and the guys that have them love them except for only one I've talked to

    I am trying to start with this company and all they got is autos, or so I was told over the phone. I don't mind, could never get the whole shifting thing right anyway, but I gotta know if anyone would want me in the industry after so many years with this company and driving nothing but autos.

    they wont care. there is alot more to trucking than shifting gears.

    You would prob have to go to a company that would train you.

    Again if you are new to trucking you will most likely have to go with a company that trains. Once you have some experience nobody is gonna care that your previous experience came in an auto any more than they will care what brand truck you drove or even if you where pink or blue underware.

    There gona care if you dont know how to shift there truck! You might not pass there road test.

    I thought it was the other way around,automatics are becoming obselete.Not too many companies have automatics.
