I have never been in a big truck and wonder how the noise level is. Can you hear each other pretty well if you have a passenger/trainer ?

I guess some are quieter than others ?

I enjoy good conversation and love music so I was just wandering if you have to talk a little louder or crank the music a little louder or if it is similar to a car.

    Thanks

Trucks have surely changed over the past 30 years. My Pete is like a car with wind noise.

Thanks for the input everyone. This is good info. I like that it is quiet. I think to much noise would get to you after awhile .

I had a 07 F/L Century Class a few years ago, and it reminded me of the noise inside a Bradley from my Army days.

They don't call'em freightshakers for nothin'! These new super quiet cabs, automatic tranny's and such ain't truck drivin'. Not sure what word out of the english language would describe it but it ain't truckin'. Balancing a hot cup of coffee at 4am, rattling cabnets and more air leaking through the windows than a wind tunnel and listening to that turbo scream under the hood, thats truckin'! I maybe still a bit of a youngster to to the older cats in here but I try and keep the old in school!

Um depends on the truck. I last drove a T2000 that was horribly loud. Now I'm in a T660 that is quiet minus the engine. Also some trim levels of the trucks have more sound dampening than others.

I think the old school trucking ways are cool and love the old trucks but I have had my hot rod days and think I prefer nice comfortable quiet ride, but hey I'm a 60 yr old man :)
