LMAO...... They above comments must have bad hearing. I drove Brand new Cascadia Evolution and it souded like I was riding on the hood. They haven't changed a bit since last I drove them 7 years ago. Volvo by far quietest new one i driven lately.

You haven't driven a truck until you have driven 238, a quad or tri plex. a 4x4 nd I don't mean a pickup, and don't forget a chain drive B model Mack and forget the power steering. Now that's truck driving. Other wise know as the good old days. I prefer my w900 with all the bell and whistles.

Ive looked for W900 but KW Dealership near and further away didn't have a single OTR KW Sleeper on lot. Besides either engine that goes in them as bad as a CAT far as fuel usage. Their way behind other brands. Otherwise I'D

Most recently I've driven an '03 KW, teaming with my O/O brother, that was so loud I had to wear ear plugs at times. After several attempts he figured out a way to seal off the doors so when we had a hard side wind it wouldn't whistle so loud. However, they don't call them Detroit Screamin' Demons for nothing. The roar of the engine and whine of the turbo was deafening.

Now I'm driving a '12 Cascadia. It's so quiet I can't hear the turbo. Quiet in the cross winds. You can have a normal conversation without shouting and you can play music low and still hear everything.

I think the freight "shaker" moniker has to come from models previous to the Cascadia. By far the smoothest, quietest ride I've ever had.

Dont let these guys fool ya, the freightshaker is alive and well. The cascadia is quiter, but still vibrates way more than it should. My laptop lasted 8 months before things started to not work from the constant vibration.
