Are most trucks noisy on the inside ?

    I drive a 1979 Kenworth K100 cabover...with the windows rolled up, you still have to raise your voice slightly to talk to the person in the shotgun seat.

    I also will lay down in the bunk after a long day of driving and still feel and hear that diesel even though the motor is off...but to me, that's truckin'!

    Lol, na, never been in any of those but if a R model mack with spring ride and no air seats counts. #### thing made more noise than the space shuttle being extremely loud and you would swear by the end of the week you would be a paraplegic!

    I Always have the window cracked. AkA smokers window. The silence with window up makes me tired. Since I been driving, late model tractors are quiet as a POV.
