I live in Texas, but I am basically renting month to month while I get ready to test for my CDL learners permit. Then I hopefully will enter a company sponsored training program since I am short of funds. At that time I will not have an official residence. I am not sure a relative will agree to let me use their address as my official one for my license. Do any companies allow drivers to have a terminal as their address on their license? It seems like I read of at least one company agreeing to that. If not, what might be some ideas to get around this issue? I have applied to Swift so far and they want to send me to their academy within thirty days from now. Swift is not necessarily my first choice. I intend to apply additionally to Roehl, Prime, Knight, FFE, Stevens, Celadon, and Central Refridgeration. Does anyone know what they may do in this regard concerning a home address? Thanks.
