Waiting at produce sheds is nothing new. I sat for two days in el centro waiting on 2plts of romaine.
I used to do 5-7 picks between Oxnard and gilroy. 2-6hr wait at each shed, but the bad part was there were no cell phones,so you had to listen for them to call you on the radio.bzinger, truckdriver31, Brettj3876 and 1 other person Thank this. -
There are two rules I live by. First don’t piss off the person preparing your food. Second don’t piss off the people loading your truck. You lose in both those cases, almost every time.

Op have you had the pleasure of sitting in a door waiting for a USDA inspector?
Nothing like having a 05:00 appointment and they call for a inspection, then tell you the inspector doesn’t come in until 10:00 and they actually show up at 11:00 then 3-4hrs to make a decision.D.Tibbitt, nredfor88, truckdriver31 and 1 other person Thank this. -

The only time i go to a grocery dc i get detention up front on the rate con or the load doesn't happen. Wait til you go to buzzottos in Cheshire CT
