The first one states "Meets ASTM F3445 safety standards for slip resistance" but doesn't mention oil (ASTM D 1460), so no.

The second one doesn't list either standard, so no.

    At least for Schneider.

Instead of Amazon, try sites like this
Reebok Nano X1 Adventure Work Men's Composite Toe Static-Dissipative Athletic Work Shoe

I'll add that there is a huge advantage to oil resistant soles, particularly in the winter at the fuel island.

As a rule even if its not required its good practice. Pallets are heavy and even carts can be pretty beefy. Besides who would you rather look like.

The trash that walks into a shipper in flipflops sweat pants and a wife beater. Or the actully professional looking driver in steel toe boots/shoes. Jeans/cargo pants and a polo/button down.

Which one looks more professional to you? And which one do you think is more likely to be passed over to represent the company on the better loads?

I always wore steel toed lace up boots when driving. I mean, think about it, you are not just driving, you are in the trailer or on the trailer (flat bed) working around heavy objects, pallets , pallet jacks, chains, 50 lb cases of whatever, (drop one on your foot, see how it feels) and walking around in slushy snow ( not fun wearing tennis shoes). :crybaby:

Oil resistant means the sole doesn't deteriorate in contact with oil. Waterproof means water doesn't seep through the material around your foot. 2 different parts of the shoes, 2 different features.

Depending on how you position the air-seat wearing a tall boot can make pressing the pedals with your feeet a few thousand times pre day uncomforable. Both of those boots are good quality and will protect your feet. I preferred a tennis-shoe type of composite shoe or low-boot for driving. Link below is for illustration. I've never owned skecher shoes.

They definitely have steel-toe crocs. I'd rather vote democrat that wear crocs, just on general principal. ;-)

Cintas and Reebok both used to sell composite/steel-toe athletic shoes. That's what I always wore. The chunky soles were much better on gravel than regular athletic shoes.
