I always had strong legs fortunately, due to all the miles I put on a bicycle as a kid and now pulling pallets all over the place.

In that case you're not likely to need safety-toed footwear unless y'all decide to pull a tanker or haul containers in and out of ports. Basically, any place that requires a hard hat will also require boots with safety toes.

I wear safety tow Blundstones (slip on ankle boot) but many steel yards and construction projects you may enter require a 8” high boot,,,buy once cry once…i only only go into warehouses,,,and thats just to get a coffee

If you're truly desperate for slip/oil resistant steel toe boots on the cheap cheap, this option from Walmart isn't a terrible choice to at least get started. I personally used these until I was able to afford to go to an actual boot store and get quality boots

Ooh, those look really nice, and have better ankle support than my current pair... what model are they?

Can't go wrong with those red wing boots. Last forever and comfortable.

I am using TerraPro and live them as well.

Unfortunately they have to be lace up, 8" boots due to client requirements. So my slip on 11" Red Wings are in the closet for now.

Same but I like the slip ons. Hard to beat Red Wing Boots.

If you're doing open deck work you're going to need them. Most shippers, receivers and job sites are going to require them.

I have a pair of 8” Red Wing boots that I bought in 2005. Have had re-soled once. They are still in good shape. Don’t wear them much anymore but they’re still in the truck for when the 8” shoes are required . Well worth what I paid for them
