Are SWift mentor's making this kind of money?

Hello? "Taking home?" BS. They are grossing that much. After they pay their lease, insurance, fuel, worker comp, etc. What is their taxable income? $40K if they are trainers.

"Taxable income" is a joke because if you do it right and take all your legal deductions off your taxable income should be small although your take home is much more. That can bite you in the butt though as we just purchased a house based on our small "taxable income" not on take home pay.

My husband isn't a mentor just a L/O and if he wasn't making more then $40k a year it wouldn't be worth it to be gone.

 

Who does he drive for??

 

Swift, he's driving right now, maybe he'll reply since he is on the board often.... The only time he isn't making money is when I keep him home. Halloween-New Years is slow for us because he is home with birthdays and holidays and the kids. He took a large chunk of Jan off to because like I said we just moved. That said he plans to haul arse for the next 6 weeks or so promising me and the kids another trip to Disneyland.

 

Montana, do not pY attention to rug trucker. He just has a large hate for swift. I know what my checks were like when I was training and they were up there

I don't have a "hate" for Swift. I have a hate for Bull cookies. Montana Boy have you ever been self employed? Probably not. When the truck breaks you pay to fix it. The lady above's husband makes $40k Take home. You can do that at Swift (not your first year as a rookie) and not have the headache of fixing a truck etc, etc, etc. Rube's are suckered into "fleases" everyday. Sign on the line! Make the big money! Get back with us if and when you pay complete your lease. Ask what the percentage is of lease drivers completing their contract.
