Just curious if the practice tests (obviously about the written part of the test) reflect the actual CDL written test?

Yes they are i just took the hazmat today and pass. also I took the doubles practice test on here many time before i when to the dot and passed it the first time. So yes they are worth it and most of the questions on here are on the dot test and worded the same.

    Yes. These are realistic.

Remember at DMV if you don't know an answer are unsure click next and you'll go to another question. When you get enough answered the test will end.

Yep, it's called an "adaptive test" lots of places have gone this way recently. Helps determine other things just beside specific knowledge of the subject.

Be aware that the questions your DMV will give you will most likely be worded differently. Don't memorize the answers. Understand the concept the the question is quizzing you on.

In NY, where I am, the questions are similar to the ones on this and other sites yet different enough to make you think you are taking another test. Also, many of the tests come out of a large pool of questions. On my first try, my general knowledge/air brakes test was a real zinger. I failed by one question. The examiner later told me they were thinking of pulling that version of the test becuase the questions were worded in such a way that the test takers, including myself, had difficulty understanding what the questions were really asking. I retook the test the next day and the version of the test I got was a walk in the park. I aced the exam.

Wife and I used this website to get all our endorsement's. Many of the questions were worded exactly the same.
