Other things you can do to be more marketable to some trucking companies is to have a passport and TWIC. The passport is for Canada runs. TWIC is for entering seaports, chemical plants, and some military facilities.

May I add, once you get a good enough score the test will stop, if you go all 300 questions or whatever it is then there is nothing they can do but to fail you, but like it is said here, get this test information down pat, use it as you get going, then it will be ingrained in your mind, and when that situation comes up, and it will, it won't be panic time it will be check the memory banks you have that "What to do in this situation" File here somewhere. Good Luck. We all wish you well just don't take my mirror with you I will need it on that door when I cross that scale 30 miles up the road, because the scale house is on that side of the road!:yes2557: If not before I get to the scale!!:biggrin_255:

You still have time for a new passport. Save even more money by having an address in one of the 9 states with no personal income tax. That's what I did; now 10 minute drive from the Las Vegas strip...lol!!!!!! It's hot there, but no blizzards to deal with in the winter.

I'm not sure about when you can apply for TWIC. Maybe Google can help on that.

haha, I live in NH! No income tax here! I will definitely keep this address as long as I can. Ultimately I want to move to a warmer climate, I have been thinking of the south, but Vegas sounds appealing, especially if there is no income tax.
