You would think they would have an owner/op package for the interior. Something nice and classy, like the old old days of Freightliner. Full gauge package, wood grain dash, 2-tone trim with cloth, more storage, things a driver might want or need.

I’ve driven Freightliner’s and way back, Fords, that were spec’d correctly, were excellent trucks, also driven Pete’s that were spec’d wrong, and were crap boxes.

Friend has a 98? Freightliner Classic with a N14. The truck is having a out of frame done on it right now. Chad the owner offered to buy a brand new truck of the drivers choice and he would put the classic out to pasture…. Driver said no, he loves the way that truck is setup, and I guess the 7” straights or something lol….

I'm gonna have to take a picture of full wheel cut. I believe I might have you beat for crappy turning......at least on big red. The 93 turns a bit sharper after adjusting the stops.

I watch all these new trucks crank it almost 90 degrees and say #### I'd be a super star if I could do that

    Lol

That Blue 389 is the one I pulled my conestoga with and a 53’ van. It is 30” longer than my 95 W900L.

I couldn’t hardly believe how nice the steering was on that truck. It put my Kenworth to shame…!

Yeah I know. The place I regularly go has some 389s and they turn pretty sharp.

My uncle's classic has more wheel cut than both of our CH's

Freightliner with a Detroit is your moneymaker. I don't think many people commenting here have driven a newer one spec'd decent. They're good trucks.

Find JJ the Trucker on you tube. He got rid of a late model Driver Shaker (that's what he called his Freightliner) for a 579.

Go check out prices on older freightshaker Crapcadias vs older Pete 389s.

Similar years/miles you can buy 3 Shakers for the price of one Pete.

    It's crazy
