Are the newer trucks really that bad, no longevity anymore?

Ouch, that sucks. My T680 was driven from the factory to the dealership, so it had a little under 2,000 on it when I took delivery. I guess that was enough time to shake out any bugs that might have popped up. My only complaint is that the stereo system resets about once a day for no reason. Other than that, no issues so far. It just rolled over 9,000 miles today.

 

I thought the same thing until I looked at the speed pulling hills.The newer motors don’t have the throttle response that the old ones have.The isx 565 was a beast pulling problem was the emissions crap.Give me an old motor anyday cat,cummins or detriot!

 

Let me guess, you live in a state that doesn't get freezing rain?

I have the same issue with the stereo reset thing. Can't figure that out either.

 

Ouch, man. That's rough. Hope they get it figured out soon.

 

I like the radio too...but is shuts down/resets about once a day as was mentioned by another driver. But hey, that's the least of my problems right now.

 

I also have an issue with the mic they use for the phone bluetooth built into the stereo system. It's mounted on the windshield and everybody says I sound like I'm talking in a barrel. Time for a regular bluetooth headset I guess. So much for KW high tech gadgets.
