    Update: it appears that Geowiz (GeoSpace Labs) addresses all my issues with respect to both auto switching from ag exempt to normal HOS and the potential conflict on cross border loads, automatically.

    I think we're going to give her a try.....

    I use the Keep Truckin eld and just use personal conveyance for my exempt miles. On the comment line I just type MAP21 Ag exempt and the b.o.l number for the load. I was inspected in KS the other day and had no issues doing it that way.

    eFleetSuite by ISE has the AG exception.

    ISE is a Trimble company and this ELD system is used by a number of different solution providers.

    PeopleNet, GPS Insight, Geotab, Linxup, FleetSharp, CommandGPS, AwareGPS, etc...

    That's what we do, and we, too, have had several clean inspections. The problem comes when we cross into Canada, because Canada doesn't recognize Ag Exempt hours. Geowiz (new edition) purports to address that specific issue, automatically.

    There isnt. You have the revelant DOT Regulations by chapter and verse for that type of trucking.

    There is nothing other than a time card record of you showing up at the yard to collect your ag rig and going home at night. You are free as a bird to work forever and ever without being in violation in the magic bubble.

    He’s talking about using the exemption on the first 150 miles, not just staying inside 150 miles. Plus he runs into Canada, and they don’t recognize the Ag exemptions.
