Just Curious. Are there any good, decent trucking companies in Salt Lake City or Utah for that matter? From what is posted on here it seems like it is the mecca of greedy, scumbag owners and trainers. If there are any of you out there let us know. I know I would be tired of getting bashed if I wasn't a part of the problem. Any how just thought it might be interesting to hear from you.:biggrin_25521:

The only good trucking company that I know of in Salt Lake City is Knight Transportation. But keep in mind that they don't hire students u have 2 have at least 4 months driving experience in order 2 work 4 them. They have really cool schedules 2 work from like u work 4 days then you r home 4 days or you work 7 days and you r off 7 days plus they pay u at 42 cpm which isn't 2 bad at all!!! I am going 2 try and work 4 them when I get a little more experience under my belt. But make no mistake about this company the days that you work THEY BUST YOUR BALLS BIG TIME!! you will be working really hard 4 them!!! I really don't mind that at all the days off is worth it 2 me

There are some good companies that hire from the SLC area and have drop yards here, but I don't thnk any of the really good companies are based here. you might Look at Interstate, Crete, CFI for a few that come to mind.
