A friend of mine is about to join W & S. He said he learned about the company from this blog ( http://hobotruckers.blogspot.com/ ) The old driver in me (Retired) is thinking this might be a recruiting ad to lure in drivers? Are they real people, real drivers, has anyone seen them around W & S. I would like to know for my friends sake. Thank You :biggrin_25514:

they look real to me. The recruiters at W/S are straight up, if they tell you something its not going to be a lie, you get to see them face to face when you get there and they stand behind any statement they make.

I felt the same way when i was signing on, I soon learned not all recruiters are alike.

and im not a recruiter im a driver sitting in one of our terminals waiting for tonights load alot of the guys on here know me.

Dont listen to him....He's an office weenie!!

yeah, you can listen to him....he is a driver and he knows as do all the drivers here how WS operates

Anyways, the recruiting department is up front with people, and don't BS. This should tell you something...their office is located in the drivers building in Missoula. My room was 2 doors down from the recruiting office, and they ALWAYS have their door open, as does everybody I've dealt with in the company.

When in Missoula, I always go up to see the girls. Usually do a little dance, a short stand up comedy routine and hang around looking for a handout, and they're always happy to have me. Then again, I'm special ;)

First I am not a ws driver or employee but I will say that I cant think of seeing very many ticked off ws drivers ....I mean aside from the normal traffic and crap at shippers and recievers......they all seemed like decent guys and gals too hats off to you W.S. drivers out there

That's the first thing that came to my mind when he said he's "special"...
Lynch, ya threw us a meatball right over the plate and you got taken yard. sorry buddy....:biggrin_25525:

But, he's right. Every time I'm in Missoula I always make it a point to drop in and say hi to the recruiting girls. They do a great job dealing with us "special ed" drivers...LOL

Ya, cause "special ed" was a oh so clever comeback. A 4 year old could have come up with that one. When you guys get some wit, call me.

I am not a W/S Driver. (Yet) I have been chatting back and forth with Mrs. Melissa for some time. Both are Very Nice People, Real Drivers, & Very Helpful. Your friend is not being scammed by a recruiter.
