Who lives longer a rabbit or an eagle?

I was gonna say he ate the rabbit, but you get my point!

Depends on the diet of the vegetarian. Much of my family is 7th Day Adventist, and some of the stricter ones do not eat meat of any kind. There are other options to get the protein you need besides meat. Soy and whey is an excellent source of protein, as well as various types of nuts (just ask competitive bodybuilders / powerlifters)
I don't think one is really healthier than the other, providing you have a balanced diet either way.
I eat meat because I like meat, not because I think it is necessary. I just love to hunt and fish, and eat what I kill/catch. Also prefer the vegetables from the garden. Wild Game Meat and garden fresh veggies, that is where the health is -

It isn't a health issue to some but more of a moral objection.

Last night Oreilly asked Bob Barker what contributed to his longevity and energy and he said he was a vegetarian.
Of course, there are a lot of vegetarians who suffer from complications of certain nutrient deficiencies if they don't supplement properly.
People who eat fish, turkey, and chicken in small amounts with an abundance of vegetables are probably healthier than most vegetarians. But this wouldn't include me. I like cows. -
They actually are, if they are true vegetarians and don't eat a lot of processed food and junk food.
College studies have shown that they live longer and that vegetarian kids are smarter. Figure that. But it takes a lot of discipline. But it is probably worth it.
