Please quote the post where I said I "couldn't make any money". during historic high rates.

Claims like that require evidence or "shut the #### up"

When there was a recognizable shift in the market I made a thread about warning what I was seeing. Hopefully all these posts and threads I made about rates helped those who considered joining the industry or buying a truck.

I'm hoping and it is seeming like to me that brokers are getting cut out of the chain all together shippers are regulating some pricing ( a lot more than before) They will give the freight to multiple brokers and give them a target price they are willing to pay whoever comes to that price covers the freight. I think eventually the brokers will go out of the chain all together it will take a while, but it will be inevitable.

It's the same for everyone. Nobody wants to give up what they have worked so hard for. Our only hope is large spot market carriers going under.
I personally know of two Chicago carriers that grew from 20 to 100 trucks in under two years only doing spot market loads with no direct freight. How many are out there like that? God knows

I think a lot of peoples heartache is when they become a motor carrier they believe that they just bought themselves a job. Little do they know that it takes a huge amount of money, endless sacrifice, sweat, tears, and busted knuckles. if you’d love to tackle problems, which our common to logistics and have money. It might be a great plan. Starting out as a motor care without financial packing is showing no respect for a business. Being motor carrier is legitimate, you will have cargo claims, you will have accidents from other drivers that you will have to pay the penalty for, you will have to spend thousands recovering a load. if you’re not set up to fulfill your obligations all you’re doing is faking the funk until it’s your time to pound sand.
