Are we owner operators really stuck around 2 bucks a mile?

I’ve seen people on this forum post,” my equipment is paid for so I can run on $1.60 and still make money”. Just sayin.

I agree, and am aware. Just wanted to offer information, but you’re right!

i benefited a lot from this community, and wanted to toss a couple cents into it.

When it comes to me booking a load, it’s a guarantee it’ll be delivered. No gamble. Come Hell or high water I always deliver. That’s not gambling. We call that a hard day’s work where I’m from.

SPY puts and any Nvidia activity has you pegged as someone who follows Nancy-pants and her whale friends, along with the rest of the r/WSB. “Trading the chart” eh? Kids these days. Can’t even do proper fundamentals.

okay, good job delivering your load. *fireworks* *red carpet out of your truck* *pictures*

are you mad that I was talking about options? r/wsb is fun to read, but I don’t trade along them. No clue what Nancy is in, would love to know though. Whatever you’re upset about, I probably can’t help you. I’m sure you’re great at charts!

fundamentals is that VIX is about to cross a large resistance, which I’m sure you know is the inverse to SPY. That’s not good for people who put their retirements in the SP, QQQ, etc. especially if they plan on retiring soon.

Ha! Yes, I do. I was really just trying to point out the many aspects of rates and business operations. We're all so different and unique that it's impossible to expect that we all do the same things to get by and stay profitable.

My only sincere issue is with the losers that think because they do something a certain way that everyone else is wrong or somehow holding them back for not doing it the way they think they should.

The ones that stay in business year after year are obviously doing something right. The ones who aren't just can't accept their failure and blame others instead. That's not aimed at anyone in particular btw.

The thing about trading the market, no matter if you're buying or selling, half the people agree with you, and half don't.

If you guys need stock tips, just let me know what stock you're interested in. I'll tell you if I'd buy or sell, then you do the opposite. Should work about 100% of the time.

100% is a pretty sure thing, if you lower your confidence to 85-90 I'd consider it

How about if/when rates return to a above average level we keep it to ourselves, so every pea brain doesn't run out and buy a truck. When miners struck gold did they run back to town and tell everybody where they found it??

They didn’t tell anyone. That’s why a gold rush never happened
