Yep! I wouldn't trade this for anything.

 

I am satisfied. Ive done everything Ive wanted to do in life.

 

I am. It is an awesome experience! I am still new, still learning, and I am loving it. I am not saying it is always easy, because it isn't, but it is worth it.

Everyday try to write 10 good things about my day. Somedays that is easy, other days not so much, but by doing it, it helps me appreciate little things.

 

Hubby has been at this for 25 years...if he wasn't happy doing it, we would be at home, in early (for me) retirement.

He loves this job so much, even with all of the lean paychecks sometimes, and the frustrations with shippers/receivers, etc. that I absolutely DREAD the day when he DOES retire...he will be MISERABLE!!

Hell yeh I'm happy with my job I'd be happy with it, if I was spending the night on the road as well.

Only problem.... Bozo the clown (aka Dispatch), who rarely contacts me through the week. Will call at 07:05 in the morning .....to check on me.

Actually, your question should be 2 part. You'll find the vast majority of drivers are extremely happy with their job. While many find their current company, lacking.

 

Yes,enjoy driving and meeting all the people you run into,And you get to see and learn alot.

 

Yeah, but that's pretty much the way it goes with ANY company, dontcha think?

But the job itself....like those commercials go....PRICELESS!!!

And I don't even drive anymore...just a passenger...and hubby, the driver, loves it more than I do!
