I'm old and retired. Not much different than my first 6 months. I see a man that's smart enough to learn. Good luck to you.

Pieter beat me to it. I'd also like to know how your driving record is.

It must be spotless, otherwise the insurance agent would have laughed him right out of the office.

Not necessarily. Money talks. I'm very curious to hear his details though.

People that take those kinds of risks usually have a large inheritance coming or can move back home with parents. I took a lot of risks as a teen living at home before I moved out at 20 years old. Once my parents passed away and left nothing, I knew I could no longer take a financial risk that would wipe me out completely. I have $60k emergency savings and still feel uncomfortable.

Some people become very successful through careful planning and diligence.

Other people can be very successful by the doing of whatever it is they're doing and with a little luck and hard work.

In this business without having money, you need ALOT of luck as well as ALOT of hard work.

There are some people that can pull it off like that. But it's certainly not something to advise the average person to do.

Let me say that I’m very sorry for the loss of your parents at a young age. I can’t fathom how difficult that is to overcome. Sorry, but I find your post arrogant. Just because someone takes a financial risk doesn’t mean they have a rich mommy and daddy as a cushion. In my mind not having that net to fall into makes a guy work that much harder to succeed. Maybe I read your statements incorrectly, so feel free to set me straight. Not everyone sees the world as you do.
