Alabama looks really bad ..
There's way too much vegetation

Why hate on Texas? NE is way worse. At least there are plenty of parking choices in Texas!tech10171968 Thanks this.

Parsons??? Why? Nice folks at the charcoal plant! Lol.

Yes, yes they are nice. And the people at the bottling plant in Ft Gibson are nice to, little disorganized, but nice. And the people at the paper mill in Toledo are nice ... But all those places are the absolute worse to get into and out of.Pintlehook Thanks this.

Southern California and Miami. Oh and Laredo -

PA is probably one of the more beautiful states in the union. Would probably prefer to drive a car through it though.
Southern California, other than the traffic, is pretty easy for the most part. I live and work here, albeit nights.
My least favorite is ny/nj. Narrow roads, tight docks, bad drivers. Nice place to visit, wouldn't want to drive there again. -
Anywhere within a 20 mile radius of Washington DC.
25(2)+2 and Swedish Chef Thank this. -
Wondering the same thing myself. Actually, Texas is one of my favorite states to drive through: 14'6" is considered a "low bridge" there, the people are pretty trucker-friendly outside of the urban areas, I have never had a problem finding parking there, and who could ever hate on Texas BBQ (or real Mexican food for that matter)? On the other hand, you can keep Houston; the traffic there is enough to drive a man into a homicidal rage.
My least favorite areas to run? That's easy: anything on I-95 between Richmond, Va and Maine (for the usual reasons); and, for some reason, I find I-81 depressing (especially in VA). Same goes for I-90 in NY (used to think snow was fun - until I started having to drive a rig through that lake-effect crap), and most of western PA as well as I-77 north of SC (I like hiking up mountains - just not in a semi).Last edited: Jul 31, 2015
