We had additional time sheets to fill out and turn in with top copy of logs (paper of course) when there were times that couldn't be charged to a customer. Got paid off of our logs. Pre/post trips they probably didn't want to pay for. Neither do I. lol Talking water hauling here. Not sure how clients are billed for crude hauling.

Very good. I did pass your info along. Being from Abilene is likely a huge plus.

    Day 4 Orientation:

Not a lot today. We watched a few safety videos, filled out and signed some more paperwork (the pile of paper has to be an inch thick by the time you get done). Spoke to 2 different district managers...got the do's and dont's lectures from them. Left out just afternoon with a box full of work gloves and caps, a hard hat and ear plugs and a notebook. They were out of safety vests, so we will get them later.

The notable item for today was static electricity around the well sites. This is a potential hazard with severe consequences.

First day was tough for me. I'm not an early morning guy....getting up @ 3 am to get ready and be at work at 5 kills me...lol. And now my regular trainer works a 4am start time (was off yesterday)...so I'll have to adjust quick...part of it.

Btw... Sunoco's work week starts on Sunday. This guy works Sunday through Thursday 4am - 4pm...as I understand it.

The actual work part of the job doesn't seem like it will be too bad. There is a lot of documentation through out the day. I'll wait until I have a better feel for it all before I comment too much...just for sake of keeping the info accurate as possible.

It's 3:00 in the morning and away I go...day 2 is calling my name! :)

divercal, RSQ Diver and Chibob Thank this.

Arky, thank you for your advice. I have a question. I read their ads for truck driver and it says eligible for recent truck driving school graduates but from an accredited school. What is their definition of accredited? I can't find the answer anywhere. Thank you
