I can't remember exactly, (it also depends on the model of seat), but I am thinking you undo the zipper, pull back the covering to expose the joint and there is a spring clip that holds it on.

    Make of seat would help.
On most, there is a zipper by the armrest.
Undo the zipper, and then push the armrest into the seat, this will allow you to pull the clip out and remove the armrest.
I have fixed the ratcheting type by screwing in a self drilling screw/bolt where I want it to stop, and that has worked.

the Only Identifying Mark I Have Been Able To Find On These Seats Is "National" On The Seat Back Adjustment Knob. There Is No Zipper Near The Armrest . I Try Pushing In The Vinyl Around The Post For The Armrest But I Don't SeeHow Its Attached.

There's a seam between the armrest and seatback it's held together with Velcro. It should come off that way.

Ah Ok Thanks For The Help. I Was Able To Get The Padding Off And Expose The Inner Workings Of The Armrest But Im Kind Of.lost.As To How It Comes Off. Does It Come Off At The Armrest Itself Or InsiDe The Seat?

It may be just as easy to swap seats. Usually 4 bolts under the seat cushion that holds it to the base.

Hmm Its That Tough Huh? You Would Think For A Part That Would More Likely Not LasT As Long As Th Seat Itself They Would Make It Easier To Change Out.
