That is true here also (I didn't read further, this was probably addressed).
OP could have a case against the bar since he definitely suffered damages.
The OP's story does raise concerns about his suitability but we don't know he is a drunk so I won't assume he is and judge him. I can well imagine the intense need to blow off steam after the first three months on the job - and as a team - that is very stressful.

    Good points.
I like that you are able to take a firmly conservative stand that is well supported and not merely judgmental.
If I was the owner, I'd probably fire him too. Nothing personal, just protecting my business.

From the bartenders point of view a person might not be 'too' drunk with that last drink served, but then it could get bad without even another drink being served.

I don't think it should be the responsibility of the bartender.
It should be the responsibility of the person drinking, to not drink too much.

Someone said that the OP might have a case against the bar.
    Why?
Because the OP got so wasted that he didn't know what he was doing, and it was someone else that was to blame?
    Get real!

We, alone, are responsible for our OWN actions!
    !!!
Trying to blame others, much less punish them, for our own faults is just SO cowardly.

Agreed. You can't get snockered and act a fool and then get in a huff about because the bar continued to take your money and serve you drinks.

Alcohol can affect parts of the brain that control movement, speech, judgment, and memory. These effects lead to the familiar signs of drunkenness: difficulty walking, slurred speech, memory lapses, and impulsive behavior.

This is the reason the Server has a responsibility to cut a customer off .

If you don't get convicted this will not hurt you at all. If first offense, that shouldn't be a problem getting that done. Pbj, stet or dismissed. I'd even consider calling fl da and asking him to drop it so I don't have to come down there, ya never know, worked for me in OH on a speeding ticket, he dropped it!

However, all that said. You're very irresponsible and if you would have come back to the truck drunk and caused me to drive when I shouldn't have, or even aggravated me, you would have been drunk and sore. This may be too much for you until you mature some.

10 posts here in almost 2 years as a member and you think it's ok to call people "sleazebags"? Really? Yeah, it's not ok. But you knew that. You're just trolling right? Go back under your bridge
