Not all companies use dac reports and besides that almost every driver out here has a bad dac report, so you will fit in just fine

Companies have an image to uphold and I think had the op got a room first he would probably still be working .it also depends what their policy handbook says.

    Yes.

    eg.
Driver A is in sleeper berth for 10 hours (can be off-duty, right seat for 2 of those)
Driver B drives for 10 hours
Truck is stopped for 24 hours, both drivers sleeper berth/off-duty
Driver A has a fresh 70 and drives for 10 hours
Driver B is in sleeper berth for 10 hours then has a fresh 70 (can be off-duty, right seat for 2 of the 10)

I'm with ya on the majority of what ya said. Do you wait for the car to drive by, then hang it out to take a wiz? Or do just just hang it out any ol' time ya feel like it, no matter who's driving by? Me personally? I think it's a judgement call. He used poor judgement. Have a beer.... Who cares? Where and the amount was the problem! Poor judgement.

Op let his hormones get the best of him with this female bartender.had she looked like 50 miles of bad road he probably wouldn't have drank so much alcohol and wouldn't have blacked out

True. If I have a beer, its at home. That's just me. I don't get blasted drunk either. I may have a few wobbly pops once every 6 to 8 weeks. If that. I have better things to do with my time and money. Takes to dam long to recover to boot.lol

It's not the booze that got him fired. It was the stay in the gray bar hotel. That will get just about anyone fired. You know how PR people are nowadays. Now the thing that I find MOST disturbing is a team truck doing a 34 on the road.

I use to drink every day after work.come Sunday I would be at the bar when it opened.sit at the bar and same stool ,they knew me always have a beer ready for me as I'm walking in the bar.then every now and again guys would buy me drinks and I played a lot of pool.the more fun you have the more you drink.finally your body says enough is a enough only it took my third and final car wreck to wake me up.
