we have people in place at risk management and road assist and night dispatch that handle this everyday
you cant send out 25 new drivers every week and not expect problems they will get you going and back OTR or home -
Thanks pete your a good guy, and thanks everyone else as well, i am a little stressed i thought i was doing ok, but i miss the family and to be honest i dont like having this kind of responsibility, one thing i deffinately dont need or want is hitting someone and god forbid....well you know.
I heard you have to put in two weeks notice if you want to quit, would they let me drive the truck back that way earlier you think? -
i dont know talk to them in the morning
but be an adult and take the truck back where it came from
you will sleep better knowing you did the next right thing -
Btw this delivery is at a place thats very tight streets, id be running through those same streets again..thats y i thought of leaving truck. I dont want something else happening, i dont know.

Whatever you do. Get back to a yard, and turn in truck. Most people quit after a few weeks and then after a couple years want to come back but can't get employment due to the abandonment. We all feel like crap after an accident, but think of all the miles you have driven safely. Just be thankful you didn't run under a low bridge or turn the truck over. A bent rim happens. I've done that trying to get on a scale. Learn from your mistakes and like you said you see that lease is stressful and from what I heard they won't let you go to company. So leave on a good note rather then a sour note. I'll keep you in my prayers. God bless my friend.
Midnight Mike Thanks this.
