I thought I saw a thread somewhere entitled "Arrow lies", or something.

Well been here a year now in there lease purchase plan. So far no BS and no one has lied to me. Although they are a pretty hands off so if you come here you should be able to stand on your own two feet. Also the money and the miles are pretty good, .90 cpm base and right now fsc at .30 also thats for all miles loaded or empty. Last year avg. 2900 per week could have done more but i am slowin' down in my old age. Miles based on HHMG ,ah somethings just stay the same. Biggest complaints I here are about not getting a check every week but hey your a business you need to budget accordingly. i might not get a big check every week but it all works out every month and thats the way I have always run my business. Also alot of new folks don't understand the flatbed industry come nov.it gets slow till about feb. so you need to save a little for winter been that way for all my 19 years of doing this. So as far as my experience with Arrow I will be here for awhile .Hope this helps, and if you have any questions just let me know and I will try to answer them the best I can. PS Love this site and think this is what the industry needs !!!!

Thank you for your reply. I gather Arrow is all flatbed. I was inquiring about this company for a friend who is now in driving school and Arrow was one of the companies that hire out of this school. I will let him know what you have said. My husband is a company driver for another company. As for lease purchasing after our fiasco with JB Hunt we stay away from this.

Not at all--they have a van division, don't know if it is reefer, dryvan, or both. When I first got my cdl in 1998, I seriously considered going with them as they paid several cents per mile more if you went with their flatbed division. Wish I had--couldn't have been any worse than C.R. England!!

I was just turned down by the high and mighty Roehl, so I am reconsidering Arrow since ther did pre-hire me(scary). They run only 48 and flatbed so my options are limited. Does any body have any info on these folks??

i'm scheduled to get my CDL Feb 22nd. Debbie already told me to call and schedule for orientation after i signed my release last week. it is down to them or Ready for home every week. She says i'll be gone 3 weeks at a time and i appreciate her honesty. if i thought for sure this was the way to make the most money i would sig w/ Arrow. Are you a trainer?

There's information here on Arrow, although not much. Look in the "Trucking Company DAC reports" section.

Arrow is a training company and that is how I got my start. I would probably do the same again, but I had a good trainer, hopefully u will too.
I left Arrow when I had my 6 months experience so I could make more money.
    Good Luck.
