That was #### cold of them, bobglenn. Maybe they are just trying to reduce the fleet to save on expenses in an attempt to stay alive. To be honest, I wouldnt doubt that most companies are employing those tactics. They just dont care. They want you out of their truck and the details are YOUR problem. Rampant throughout the industry. At least if you own your own truck, you wouldnt treat yourself as bad if/when you decide to "fire" yourself, but as an O/O, you have an entirely different set of headaches to deal with.

you will get bumped if another driver comes in to the shop with a load and you don't. Also depends on whats wrong with your truck.

I bet ill get a bunch of your full of BS it cant be that bad but everything put here is the truth

1st off was the terminal and fleabag motel and orenitation then it was the van ride down to Laredo to pick up my truck, the thing was so filthy that I had to go to the motel (which I paid for) untill they could clean it up the next day. I knew I was in trouble when I pulled out 5 drivers manuals..it was a 04 freightliner with 400k..and a bad steer tire. later on I blew a trailer tire and was told to go to the nearest place to get it fixed....the T/A fixed it but I was held hostage in the shop for almost 12 hours waiting for them to cut a comcheck...I was also stuck in a terminal for 5 days waiting on a PM service beacause they had no money for fuel and oil filters...I even offered to buy the #### things just to get back on the road...and the clincher I fell of my load fixing my tarps on the side of the road and messed up my back and Arrow trucking refuses to pay any of the bills....an after the injury my miles went from about 15-1600 a weel to about 400-500 a week so I had to quit....WORD OF ADVICE!!!! STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM ARROW TRUKING IN TULSA OK

what a crock of **** . i have a friend who worked for arrow like a month ago but got let go for some stupid and immature reasons due to his part. first off they have money to pay for pm's fuel and all that good stuff they are a big flat bed company just like tmc and boyd and any other company that advertises in truck mags and other publications that involve the industry. if the truck was so dirty why did u agree to move in it in the first place. if you paid for the motel then why didn't you go all out and get a real nice one also . just my two cents

Yes, Freightliner won't give them credit on parts anymore. They must come up with the money up front now.

News just came in , , Last week they had to sell off some of their trucks just to make last weeks payroll for the drivers.

Been hearing from many drivers, that the company is giving out , dirty run down, broken down trucks to drivers. One driver complained of a huge hole in his bunk that you can see in and out of.

Another driver, coming out of orientation, received a truck that was rolled over with mud up around the door and in the door jams.

They left a bunch of drivers, after orientation, in the parking lot with their beat up trucks , without a motel room for 4 days after the Memorial holiday , until they can get tarps for them.

I think, guys in jail get better treatment than that.

My question is: Who pays for the fines? When the truck gets DOT Check, out on the road?

Freightliner has cut off credit to alot of people/companies, especially those with a large balance, my dad gets alot of his parts for the farm equipment (engine parts) from a local dealership and pays cash for everything so he can still use his account if he has to, but a neighbor farm
had his account closed because he had not made a payment on his balance for over 60 days, I imagine the suits in corporate are watching every penny 'cause freightliner is hurting also
