    I stayed at Arrowhead outside of Pendleton last night...something I said I would not do again two years ago. This place is hugely improved. Although it has a McDonald's in it now, an establishment I detest, it is a vast improvement over the cafe that was there before. I tried that old cafe three times and while the food tasted good, I got sick every time. Well, it's gone now.

    The whole place has been rebuilt with new facilities, a very well lit paved parking lot with shore power available in some slots, huge bathrooms and a clean, well stocked C-Store. I believe there is a shuttle to the casino if you want to eat off the buffet. Them Injuns done good. I will make it a regular stop now.

    I stopped there about 3 years ago, pouring rain, scary truck stop. Refused to go back. Then they leveled the truckstop and put that new one in. I stop almost everytime I go through. They have great showers.

    My only real complaint is a large portion of their parking spaces are blind backs. And, at night, when it's raining, it can be tough to get backed in. With as much space as they have, you'd think they would have pained them as non blinds.

    Next time you are there and have time take the shuttle and go to the museum and cultural centre.
