As a single guy with no kids this is why I choose not to go home much...

Sorry just saw this post. I accumulated a lot of gadgets over the years that I like to use and when I go to a hotel I am only confined to what they offer. I created my own world at my house so I have an office, workout room, entertainment room, music studio, relaxed bedroom, etc. Plus I can just throw on my sandals and hop in my car that is warm and clean in my garage (I added heating to my garage and insulated it). At a hotel I have to get dressed and walk to different areas in or around the hotel for these things. I hope to pay off my mortgage soon then all I would have to worry about is the low utility bills as I am hardly there so that is worth it.
