    I do a little something.

Just because I go do something does not mean you go do it.

Lets I arrived at 4am. Lady Roach coacher serves me breakast fom her street food truck at less tan 20 dollars Lunch again. Still waiting.

Even though I am the first there they get everyone else but me coming and going. Now were looking at about 12 hours gone waiting.

The moment the day shift leaves I pack up the truck and go away. Suit comes running to intercept me at the gate WTF you doing?

I tell suit you destroyed two of my company's very important loads valued at over 10K each for failing to unload by noon as stated on the qualcomm. I will return one more time in the morning and it will either be empty by noon then or it will be delivered back to the shipper at my cost if need be. (it's about 2000 dollars for that move... savings 9000+ I frankly don't give a &^%$,.)

So there is your choice Mr Suit. You want this stuff or not? Roach coach lady proceeds to serve me a 20 dollar meal asking only for a 10 as she over hears my converstation. I tip her a 20.

Suit has by now turned a variety of colors. Then stood silent like a storm cloud.

I heard him say a small word, it's very below my hearing. I shut the truck off, climb down nicely and lean a little closer so I can hear him over the roar of that traffic.

"Im sorry driver for jerking you all day." You will be empty in 20 minutes I promise."

It stands to reason that there are two cell phones from my boss, who lost 10K each today (Not my fault) and the second cell has something of a very angry broker threatening to destroy the money changers in that lazy reciever's house of cain and says so to his face.

I give a dinner lady a look and said this will be a dificult night after this man gets me empty. She goes away with the food truck.

I called my boss to tell him scratch me off for tonight and most of tomorrow. I'll use the time to improve my recap hours a little bit, catch up on laundry and get more rested. I was running a little bit too hard that week. after I got past the virgin River without cruise control my right foot was not working well so both me and the truck needed some attention anyway.

I was unloaded in 15 minutes. As the sun set I put away everything fixing to find a spot down by the bowling alley and go to bed. A teenager showed up in a truck and said food girl says to me to follow him and all is well and not to worry.

Against my better judgement I followed food boy to a small farm with a picknic table and somepeople plus food and real shade and drinks.

I did my best to be sociable. Towards the end of the evening, it was revealed to me that the reciever was part of the family and felt really badly about costing my company 20K today plus potentially another 3K out of my pockets with him be ###### and so forth.

    What a night.

It did not make up for the 14 plus hours sitting in the burning sun. Food truck girl used a airforce burn ointment borrowed from her husband to tend to my own burns in he arms and such. I remember it took alot of fluids.

I told my boss never send me back to that particular place again. I suppose they managed to do what they can to try and make it all better and then some. So Im not too mad at them. But those two important loads went bye bye and you will never get themback again ever.

I leave you with this thought.

When I get temper like that over some stupid tragic waste witnessing hundreds of thousands of commerce being loaded and unloaded there as if I matter nothing at all to this business.. I have a horrible anger that if I needed to out a cigar lighter to a million dollar bill and dump this entire load into the nearest ocean in front of this insufferable suit, I would make sure it's done.

That's not the way to treat truckers. So keep that thought in mind.
