As a Student, I am inquiring: What do truckers do while waiting 4 hours to unload?

    Unless it's certain it's going to be two hours, I don't put on a flick. I hate to cut it short. Even if it's one I've seen. I do all the other things mentioned. Sleep, read, go online.

    Also, I plug in my karaoke tracks and sing a little. Yes, I really can sing.

    I watch pre-trip inspection videos on YouTube with the volumn cranked all the way up.

    I almost never wait to get unloaded. Rarely a few places only have room for one truck, or someone blocks you. I load and unload my own truck so it's s little different.

    I notice a lot of those guys like to chat at the salad bar and coffee counter. They seem to be a little hard of hearing from all the gun fights they've been in, because they talk loud.

    I pull off all the straps chains binders and whatever else then tell them chop chop I got #### to do and places to be.
