From my experience, it seems only word of mouth, or searching Google Maps for empty truck yards, driving there, and asking if there's a space available + the cost. It's even better if that truck yard also has a mechanic on site.
Its very hard to find a truck parking lot and I was just wondering how do you guys do it? Simply googling "truck yard parking for rent" doesn't have helpful results. I was thinking to move to another state and the thought of finding parking again seems difficult.
As an O/O, how do you find truck parking lots for rent?

Try just truck parking or truck parking for rent.
I found the places i have used from just passing by or someone had said something about the place.
Also check for RV and boat storage places. -
Hmmm first post, ####amamie story. Why don’t you just tell us what kind of project your researching. The last thing I want in a yard is a “mechanic” in there.
Dave_in_AZ and spyder7723 Thank this. -
I rent after I saw a big sign that said “heated truck parking for rent”.
We all do the mechanical ourselves. Can’t trust the pros to grease a truck right now a days.Dave_in_AZ, spyder7723 and Mattflat362 Thank this. -
I just park mine in my driveway

Oh man it is tough around me....I got lucky with my current back up spot....and then a huge parking lot behind my house is not used 8 months out of the year.
I am on the hunt daily with a real estate agent. I just want a 25 or 30 x 40 or 50 steel building or a lot to build one on.DSK333, roadtech, Dave_in_AZ and 1 other person Thank this. -
Storage condos don't have drains and you technically can not do business out of them. And you have people to deal with and whatever thay have going on....

I street park in well lit industrial parks. Where I live, there are no places to rent space, and when I street park I am empty. On those rare occasions when I do have something in my trailer, I unhook and nose the front of my tractor up to the doors of the trailer.
