I am trying to make my new driving career as healthy as possible. I plan on eating most of my meals in the truck, avoiding fast food, and exercise when possible.

I am wondering, how do you go about doing cardio workouts on the road? Going for a morning run around the truck stop or rest stop seems a little dangerous, but what other options are there?

Also, can anybody recommend any in-cab workouts. I looked at the Bow-Flex adjustable dumb bell weights, but I can't say I want to spend $1000 on them.

Any advice from you experienced guys would be much appreciated! Thanks!

I use truckstops and rest areas during daylight hours. I also carry a skipping rope. Don't know how those kids can skip for hours.
