not a 3500 Chevy but nice----LOL (poke-poke)

The engines now a days should last 400-500 thousand miles, friend has a daily driver with 600,000 on it (5.3 chevy 2000 extend cab), and did have to put a tranny in about 350,000, but its a no leaker and does not use any oil--they are a lot better than they use to be. of course it all depends on how well you do the manitance. And the new prices is why I took my truck to the body shop for a rework 2000 chevy with 148,000 on it had it since new.

Well im not sure if bad luck follows me or im just always in the wrong place at the wrong time i was coming north on 85 about 8 miles from the ta at exit 149 and a car is wrecking in the center on the south bound side and a Conway truck pulling doubles was in the left lane beside me when car parts starts flying and it sounded like his tire blew either way something come up and smacked my windshield and blew glass all in truck all over me luckily only got a few scrapes on my hand but Conway took off when he seen me hit the shoulder law was called hopefully they caught up to him

He got beyond lucky. I swung by this morning on my way out of Atlanta to get a look at it. Both sides were shattered and there was only about a millimeter of glass at the bottom of the depression that kept it from punching all the way through and completely shattering.

 

That ain't good. Good thing the driver is ok though
