I have XM in my KW but it is more than $10. I have the second level of service and it is classified as the second radio because I have XM in my pickup.
I believe the KW is 14 and the RAM is 33. Both have the second level. I have had it for several years and I think it can not be beat. If you can't find a station that you like you must be extremely hard to please. Joseph what about the traffic and weather channels? They are only major cities but that gives you an idea for various areas of the country.

Mine is KW factory installed on the top of the cab. Only problem I have is tunnels and a tree canopy that almost cover the roadway, like places on the PA Pike.

I'll bet you 50 bucks your antenna is in a bad spot or broken. I run mine out the passenger side door up to the top middle of the sun viser and stick it up with high dollar Velcro. Never have any problems.

Being in New York, antenna quality and placement is more critical. The further North and East you go, the more issues you will have getting reliable reception, especially along roads with heavy tree cover along-side the south and west of your position. The higher and further away from the truck body you can get your antenna, the better.

The Onyx Plus is the best one out there, and it's a 5 minute install. You just mount it to your window or dash.

I have Sirius and love it. But I still spend half my time listening to audiobooks using the "Smart AudioBook Player" app.
