Whatever, Cummins says they have no issues with coolant in their engines! So whatever we are done. Thanks for your reply.

The PeteStore thanks for the info, any stores around MD? Have a 04' 379 long nose. The brake pedal is rock solid. The air system seems to be working fine and the parking brake works fine just the brake pedal is hard. I am assuming this is a problem with the plunger or cylinder under the cab that the brake pedal is hooked to. Do you have any more suggestions and how much would this part be? Thank you

Any suggestions/ or ideas on what the problem is with my a/c with my Peterbilt 379.
In 3 years, I have been through 5 a/c compressors. This last time, I had the a/c compressor replaced, all pressure switches replaced, new belts, hoses, evaporator, cooling fan, and recharged.
Like the last 3 years, it works great for a month after repair, and then it starts to blow warm. In the past, there used to be a ticking noise when it would start to go out and then the a/c compressor would blow. However since I had the pressure switches replaced, it isn't doing that, but once again its blowing warm air.
Not sure what else to do, but I drive South so having a/c is a must.
I've been to a Peterbilt dealership around home and other service stations and nobody can figure it out!

Pete store guy can you call my boss and talk him into a PAC lease. I'm tired of junk Ryder trucks. A nice t700 would be nice with a 13 spd. And refrigerator.

I doubt "the Pete store guy" is wanting to sell your boss a T700 KW, now maybe he could talk him into a new 579 !!!
