So how does it work on the road with a trainer when it comes to food and cooking. I assume there is a fridge in the truck, do you get room to put your own food in the fridge as well? I plan on eating frugally for the first couple of weeks until I get my first few checks. It is expensive to eat out and eat at truck stops all the time, so I would rather have things I can make myself. How did it work for all you guys when you were with a trainer? Maybe I will get Baritone as a trainer and he can cook for the both of us, haha. Some of those meals he cooks on youtube look delish! Do you need to bring utencils, plates, cooking pots, etc? I know a truck is small for two guys. I am fine with PB and Banana sandwiches 3 times a day.

Its up to each trainer. Mine has a fridge and microwave and I could use both.

All our trucks have a Fridge/Freezer. What the trainer has in his truck really depends on the person. Many have microwaves and are more than willing to allow you to put things in the fridge and use of the Microwave etc.

Thinking about joining millis here in a couple weeks does anyone know how much their family insurance runs and if they have trainers out of OH
-
The insurance is an HSA. If you don't know what those are, I suggest you research it. I don't use it so they give me an extra .01 cpm bonus...if you add that up each month, it costs you the regular premium plus another $80 - $100 month in lost pay to have it here.

$67/week medical...Me and two children. $4/wk dental which gives you a $1,200 allowance per person per year. I put $20/wk into HSA and Millis put $10/wk (Before taxes) I just left Millis after 28 months and had $2,500 in my HSA. I liked the health insurance and so did the ex...got a STACK of explanation of benefits to show the value.

Thanks guys 77smartin was there a certain reason you left I mean with the company?

Be home more. Millis was good to me, I never got wrapped up in the all the BS you hear. It did suck that there is a lot of lazy drivers and you had to clean up after them...constantly, but hey it is what it is. I made good money, ran hard and the most important thing I found was to figure out the system. Once you learn the patterns of the freight with Millis you can really excel. Even with the new things they are gonna roll out I still figured you could run hard...just got to work with it and not against it.
