They won't let you drive anything up there. Probably won't let you come in the country either.
There are ways of dealing with it... I can't think of the website, but if you search for Canada and say entry or passport or something like that, I'm sure it will pop up. Basically, there's a third-party company that will do this for you, or you can go to the Canadian immigration website and do the paperwork. It mostly requires money and time. BTW... stuff that is illegal for our government it access is perfectly legal for the Canadian government ot access in realtime... such as personal records including records of misdemeanors, felonies - and traffic infractions. They'll catch it at the border. I understand that they can throw you in jail and charge you with some nonsense... we'd probably call it attempted illegal entry. -

They should be contacting you with a date for orientation. If you don't hear from them in a week or so, I'd be getting on the phone with your recruiter.
-
You can pull over for breaks when you need to - that's something you work out with your instructor or trainer. If I was "off-duty" I'd stick my head out of the sleeper and ask Frankie if he'd stop at the next rest area or truckstop - on duty, I'd pull over when I needed to. You always find a place to stop when changing shifts - your instructor and you need to switch seats, update log books, hit the john, etc...
-
They'll probably call you, but I'd suggest that you should call recruiting, and find out where you stand in the process.
Go look at the last couple of entries in the training thread...

Hope someone can help with my ?s I was wondering if anyone knows if PRIME hires drivers that have a class A but no recent experience or if they have a refresher program in their training program?
-
Tha "no recent experience" is usually a strike against you. Call the recruiters and ask...a
