That $200 loan per week is to live on the road... Your instructor maybe nice and buy you a meal or snack, but don't expect it.

How much should you stash? Enough to pay your bills for 6 weeks minimum. You may not get an instructor right away... Delays happen for various reasons.

Best case scenario your making a paycheck in 4-5 weeks... But it doesn't always work out how you plan it in trucking

I fly out of Springfield on the 22nd for my trip to Germany. If I get in early we'll have to get together.

My flight leaves just before noon, so by early I mean if I get in the day or evening before.

What are prime company drivers trucks governed at and the speed policy?

What are prime L/O trucks governed at and their speed policy?

What speed does prime recommend you plan your trips with?

Last I heard it was 58 on the pedal and 62 on cruise, but it's been long enough since I was over there that they've probably changed that again.

62 on the pedal, and 65 on cruise. We get dispatched to Canada, so that's the "65" part. They don't give you a hassle about how fast you are going... as in say a bit faster down a hill, but I did hear about one guy who kicked it out of gear and did over 100 coming down one of the hills on I80 in NV. He got a call from safety...

50... and most of the time that works. However there are the occasional loads that are shot from the git-go, so sometimes you need all the speed you can find.

If I get through training and run this area, where are Prime drop yards or customer locations that are authorized for dropping a trailer during hometime. My "home" is Portland, ME and my kids live near Hartford, CT. I would take hometime in either of these locations, although mostly in CT.

Just a guess, but I would think the Walmart DC in Lewiston would be an option for ME. Lots of Prime activity going on there. Don't know about Hartford.
